In case you were off exploring time and space and haven't looked at a calendar since you got back it is Thursday. Using deductive reasoning, since Haley usually blogs on Thursday, this must be she. (I would also know that because I am Haley and have been for almost fourteen years, but since you haven't I was just trying to help.)
I was exceedingly excited for Doctor Who, and sadly I had no one else to enjoy it with, but it was still fabulous. My mom is complaining about something so I must write this quickly.
The Silence... umm. Were you saying something? Was I saying something? On a more serious note... WHY THE SUITS? WHEN DID EVIL BECOME SO DAPPER? How did we go from this...
to this ????????????
Amy being preggers... not even. Remember when she was pregnant/kind of pregnant/bitch that was a dream pregnant? I learned from that that pregnant women can not be companions to the Doctor due to the fact that there is a lot of running involved.
The Doctor dying... THAT CAN NOT HAPPEN. I have not yet compiled a theory as to what will happen, but I'm sure it will be beautiful and confusing and I will cry.
River is a bad ass... I love her so much. I see a lot of people who hate her and stuff, but I don't understand why. Her relationship with the Doctor is obviously strong and beautiful and they seem to be very close (they are basically living in different directions and they still manage not to make the world explode... HEY! WAIT A MINUTE...) (I was just about to type something and it was genius but I can't remember what it was. THE HORROR. I'll bore you with stuff instead.) Personally I would love if it turned out that the Doctor and River had something going on together, but I know that nothing that simple will occur. If the rest of their story line is any similar to the rest of Doctor Who it will be outrageously mind boggling... and I honestly can't wait.
We have reached the end.
Hannah, I will read you tomorrow.
DFTBA,
Haley. (:

The Impossibly Complex Episode
Hey girls, it's Tuesday. I didn't get a chance to see the new Doctor Who on Saturday because I had to work. But, yesterday it went up on iTunes so I downloaded and have since watched it several times. I have to say, I didn't dislike it as much as some people seem to. I've watched several videos and read several blogs and everyone seems to hate the new episode. I don't. I mean, I agree that some parts were confusing and I just sat there like, "what is going on?" But that's part of what I like about the show, not knowing what's going on and having to form your own theories until figure it out and sometimes your right and sometimes your wrong. Its like a game.
Now, about the whole Amy being pregnant thing. I don't think its true. However, I vaguely remember reading somewhere that this was going to be Amy's last season with the Doctor. So, I think she gets pregnant, but not yet. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe she is pregnant now and that's why she leaves later. I don't know.
River. I like her. I keep hearing people say they hate her, but I love her. I think because she's so unlike me in every possible way that I like seeing how her character progresses. I do want to know more about her, but until they decide to tell us, I'm happy making my own theories. Speaking of theories, Hadley, I don't fully understand the River=Tardis theory, but I'm intrigued by it. Mostly, because its the first time I've heard about it.
Oh, another thing. The little girl in the space suit at the end, did she look like the little girl from "the Lodger" to you? Just me? I don't know if it actually is, but if it is I'm guessing its just a coincidence that they used the same actress (is that what I should call her. Or, child actor? I don't know).
As far as the Doctor dying thing, I have no idea. I haven't been able to come up with a good theory yet. Maybe Amy ends up killing the astronaut or something? I don't know.
Emily, I think you said on Facebook you wouldn't be blogging this week due to exams, but in case you do, I'll read said blog tomorrow.

"GodDAMMIT, Davies..."
Hello, everyone. It's Monday. Katie, I adore that picture of Kenneth more than words can express, which I've already conveyed to you via my wild squeaking at school. Here's the deal: Today's theme is your response to the new Doctor Who episode...which I haven't seen for two reasons:
1) I couldn't go to Katie's party as I was at my grandma's birthday dinner, and
2) I'm still kind of on Series 4.
Now, last night I watched The Stolen Earth (DAVIES... [brandishes fist]) and will be watching Journey's End later tonight, so I'm be giving you my most recent responses to Doctor Who. Firstly...I am angry with the writers. Not because they write bad stories, but because their stories are so bloody sad/suspenseful/TERRIFYING or yeah, sometimes bad (DAVIES...) that it can put a nervous fangirl on edge sometimes. Here are my recent beefs with the show, condensed out of angry, sleep-deprived, spazzing-out-on-Katie's-Facebook-wall format into a more legible context.
1) I WANT TO KNOW WHO RIVER IS. I realize that this is the same predicament every Doctor Who fan is in right now, but I. Don't. Care. I want to know NOW. Mostly because I just watched Silence in the Library a few days ago and am geeking out about how cool she is. She just may find her way up to being my second favorite character. (The Master reigns supreme.) On the River subject, I want her to be the TARDIS. SO. BADLY. But my dear Katie has recently informed me that that theory doesn't make sense anymore. Super duper. Now what theory am I supposed to believe? (Leave suggestions in the dooblydoo.)
2) DAVIES. WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH THE 10/ROSE REUNION?! Excuse the allcaps, but my anger merits it. What, what, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! Do you ENJOY stabbing us in the collective fan heart? I mean, they couldn't even have a smooch...or a cuddle...or a nice hug before you SHOT HIM WITH A DALEK and RUINED EVERYTHING?! I am disappoint, Davies. Very disappoint. I will say it was nice to have every companion back, especially Sarah Jane given Liz Sladen's recent passing. And the Jack/Ianto cuddles were so cute...until I remembered that in Series 3 of Torchwood, you were going to kill Ianto, too. Davies... -_-
3) On the Ianto note, WHY DO THE GAYS ALWAYS DIE...? I'm starting to think there's a conspiracy here... Ianto...Ricky...Roger...that chick on the bus in Midnight (actually, a good episode for Davies)...the Master...
4) Speaking of which, the Master needs to come back. I don't care in what ridiculous-ass way they decide to do it, but it has to happen. There's something wrong with my favorite character only being in five episodes of the new series. Unacceptable.
5) Speaking of unacceptable, where...the fez...is Jenny...? She was hot, smart, and had a strong emotional connection to the Doctor...and isn't dead...but is inexplicably not around...can we fix this? Please? Moffat? Anyone?
With these grievances out of the way, I am pumped for Journey's End, even though I'll probably be about ready to punch the television by the end. (DAVIES...) As a parting note, I give you a moment of math class:
Katie: [while discussing River=TARDIS theory, attempts to draw picture of the TARDIS and River]
Me: "Katie, that doesn't look like River in any way, shape, or form..."
Katie: "Sure it does! See, she has hair..."
Soon to be watching: Journey's End (DAVIES...)
Soon to be eating: a Wendy's frosty

Look behind you!
Hey girls, it's Sunday! Last night was the American premiere of the new season of Doctor Who.
Since the premiere of this was a really big deal we had a party at my hosue where we ate food and watched the show... well some of us watched the show....
Another happening at this party is that my friend Kenneth dressed up as David Tennant and was rather adorable doing so.
So we all went to the basement to watch it while eating cookies and pizza. We were very very excited. And lthough I love this show, this past episode made me feel like this:
I had little idea of what happened. So today, after I celebrated Easter, procrastinated my homework, and talked to my friend JoAnna, I decided to re-watch the episode. I will now review and say what I think will happen.
SPOILERS HAPPEN NOW
My Conclusions of the episode:
1. Amy is not pregnant
2. The aliens make people forget but slowly take their memory and outward
3. The Doctor isn't really dead/will come back
The episode starts with the Doctor "waving at Amy and Rory through time" by having him appear in shows and history books doing things like hiding under a woman's skirt naked. Envelopes are sent to Amy, Rory and River Song inviting them to the middle of no were in Utah.
They all get there and the Doctor is wearing a Stetson. They all hug and stuff. They go to a lake and have a picnic. AMY DRINKS WINE!!! ( you're not really supposed to *drink* when you're pregnant)
Also, Amy never shows any sigh of pregnancy until the alien appears and she gets sick. *THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO RIVER SONG*
The Alien thing told Amy to tell the Doctor the thing "that he must and must not know" and apparently that's pregnancy.
Also in the preview for the next episode it said that the aliens have the ability to hypnotize people or whatever
2. I think this is the best explanation for what they are. An example is when Amy was in the bathroom and the Alien made the other woman explode and then the alien said that her name was Joy. HE GAINED KNOWLEDGE! And then when they were at the creepy place at Jefferson Adams Hamilton they saw a bunch of space equipment and then the girl was in the suit and previously the girl said "THE SPACEMAN IS GOING TO EAT ME!!!" and then preview said "maybe it did already O_O. so yeah. possibility
3. Well... that's just obvious.
Well, hopefully by the end of the series i won't look like this

So honestly, I am not the best judge for this theme considering my "love life" (if you can call it that) is a bit bleak. Reasons for this:
- I'm in 8th grade...
- I'm a prude?
- I'm too awesome...?
Instead I've taken the liberty to give you some pick up lines of the Harry Potter variety
Have you heard of Platform 9 and 3/4? Well, I can think of something else with the exact same measurements. |
My name may not be Luna, but I sure know how to Lovegood! |
I know we're not in Professor Flitwick's class, but you still are charming. |
My love for you burns like a dying phoenix. |
Being without you is like being afflicted with the Cruciatus Curse. |
Hagrid's not the only giant on campus, if you know what I mean. |
Your name must be Severus Severus, because you're making my prince full blood. |
Interested in making some magic together? My wand is at the ready. |
I must have had some Felix Felicis, because I think I'm about to get lucky. |
Without you I feel like I'm in Azkaban and dementors are sucking away my soul. |
I've been whomping my willow thinking about you. |
If I were to look into the Mirror of Erised, I'd see the two of us together. |
You are like a bottle of Skele-Gro: You're growing me a bone. |
You must be magical, because I've fallen under your spell. |
I'm not wearing an invisibility cloak, but do you think I could still visit your restricted section tonight? |
I'd like to get my basilisk into your chamber of secrets. |
You don't even have to say "Luminos Maxima" to turn me on! |
Have you been using the Petrificus Totalus spell? Because you've made me stiff. |
Whaddya say you and me go look for the Room of Requirement? |
Do you want to head to the Shrieking Shack? We could do some shrieking of our own. |
Are you using the Confundus charm or are you just naturally mind blowing? |
Come on, let's do it Hippogriff style! |
One night with me and they'll be calling you MOANING Myrtle. |
You can have the portkey to my heart. |
Come here, I'll show you a REAL Patronus. |
I'd let you handle my wand any day! |

Picking up Girls
Hey girls, it's Tuesday once again. I've kind of been procrastinating on my homework and so I still have to do it all by tomorrow, but because I love you (or possibly because I'm still procrastinating) I'm writing this first. #priorities.
But anyways, let's get right to the theme; How to pick up girls/how you'd want a potential suitor to treat you. First of all, Katie, props for using the word suitor. I love that word, and its very under used. Second, well, I guess I'll make a list.
1. Have a sense of humor. I love laughing, but then again who hates it? Still, if you want to a decent shot, be funny.
2. Humble/Nice. Don't brag about your achievements to me, I'm not a potential employer, I don't give shit how many community service hours you have or that you did a missions trip in Costa Rica (To be clear: I may be interested in that, but not up front, don't shove it in my face like your applying for a job).
3. This one is more for me personally than for any girl. Although, if its a nerd girl you're after it will almost definitely be effective with her too. Read/talk about books. Bonus points if you turn a book quote into a nerdy pick up line. In fact, if you do that, I may even ask you out.
And... that's all I can think of without sounding repetitive. Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

How to Make Tiny Hearts
Okay. Despite all I always say about my ideal guy looking like David Tennant or Davey Havok...this is what's really up when it comes to winning over a potential girlfriend/boyfriend. Now, before I start, I must say that I'm only drawing from my own experience; I can't technically speak for other girls/boys out there. But I will say that I can't be the only one (BY FAR) who feels this way. LET IT BEGIN.
Obviously, I'll initially be interested in you if we have a lot of common interests (especially if we're both Nerdfighters), but to completely win me over, it's necessary that:
1) You're a gentleman. Opening doors for your significant other, other such gentlemanly actions, and just generally being sweet and adorable are always strongly encouraged.
BUT
2) Don't be pretentious about it. Genuine, understated politeness is always preferable to being a show-off.
ALSO
3) If you act like a gentleman ONLY to your significant other...you're doing it wrong. Just be a kind person in general.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO
4) Be a respectful person: to your significant other, to your friends, to your significant other's friends, and to as many people as humanly possible. Being nice is always attractive.
AS IS
5) The ability to act like a total dumbass with your significant other. If you're too focused on impressing a girl/boy that you can't act silly around them or just generally be yourself...you're doing it wrong. The ideal match for anyone is someone you can be yourself with and just love being around.
THEREFORE
6) Overall, what really attracts me is someone who can be both serious and silly with me and who is kind, respectful, and a hell of a lot of fun.
Too much to ask? We'll see. : )

What was spring break again?
Hey guys, I almost forgot I have to blog today, I'm also doing BEDA on my personal blog and haven't written it yet (you can check it out here if you want).
Spring Break is between the winter and summer semester, right? For me that was whole February and that's long ago, but let's see what I remember. I...
Sorry that this is short, but I have to write on my blog too before going to bed.

Spring Break
By now I have virtually forgotten spring break. It was weeks ago. Here are a list of things that I do remember from spring break:
- I do remember that I went online a lot.
- I do remember that I went to the beach.
- I do remember that I worked on an essay.
- I do remember that I went to Nerds and Music.
Frankly the list of things that I do remember from spring break is thin. I will have to wait until summer break to relive the happiness.
We were forecasting for high school this week. I'm possibly going to drop band and go for debate and journalism instead. It is all kind of stressful, but I feel that it should be really easy.

Spring Break was a thing that happened
Hello girls, its Tuesday once again. This weeks theme, as you know, is spring break. My spring break happened like almost three weeks ago, and I didn't do anything super exciting so I don't remember everything about what I did, but I'll try to sum it up for you.
First things first, as you might imagine of a college student on spring break, I slept a lot. Never bothering to wake up before noon (except on those days when I had to work). Good times.
I also caught up a lot on some reading. I don't remember specifically what I was reading at the time, but I remember I read a couple of books.
I spent a fair amount of time playing videos games, including but not limited too; Super Mario, the Sims, Fable II and Assassins Creed. All good games, and all provided sufficient entertainment for me over the course of the week.
I went out with friends a couple of times. Mostly to the movies or to a restaurant. I don't remember anything specific about these occasions though.
And... that's pretty much it. I am super interesting.
Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

You know it's Spring Break when...
1. You wake up at 12:17 PM because...
A) you just got back from Las Vegas where...
i) there is a three hour time difference.
ii) you had pancakes the size of lamp shades.
iii) there were hotels the size of malls where...
a) there were gondola rides with Italian men singing in deep voices.
b) there were inside gardens.
c) there were restaurants with the most amazing food ever.
d) it was always daylight with ceilings looking like a bright blue sky
e) there were high-end stores EVERYWHERE.
f) there were escalators that spiraled.
iv) it was 80 degree F. every day and it was fantastic.
v) there were the fanciest McDonalds you have ever see
vi) you saw Phantom of the Opera and it had the most amazing stage mechanics ever.
vii) you saw The Beatles LOVE which was utterly stupefying.
viii) you had the weirdest dreams ever.
B) you spend the previous night talking to one of your friends about another friend who basically just asked you out after you had kinda broke it off with him the week before.
C) you read a book until 1 AM
D) you had nothing to do the next day.
This was going to be longer, but then my brother Scotty forced me to watch "Friday" by Rebecca Black and it horrified me so much that I need to get away from anything that reminds me of the days of the week... sadly that includes this blog.
