Hey bloggers, it's Monday.
So I'm leaving for Hawaii in a couple of hours, so I decided to make my entry as soon as it turned from Sunday to Monday. I was expecting something easy to write about, and that I could make it to the point and with less rambling. BUT IT IS INEVITABLE. This week's theme is really intense for me because I have way too many favorite things.
Yikes.
One of my favorite things that I always proclaimed my love for.. are strawberries. I love strawberries. Everything about it fascinates me and the whole concept blows my mind. Y'all probably think I'm a little nuts because I'm crazy about a fruit. The subject of strawberries is a little complicated for me to explain but they mean a lot more to me than just a yummy fruit. For example, I see it as a symbol and as an icon. It's difficult to explain, but something about strawberries are very alluring and seductive to me. I love how it's featured in the media. For example, Strawberry Fields? I also love The Beatles, but that's another story.
I'm kind of rushing, and I apologize for the hasty and badly written blog entry. I'll make it up, and I know this isn't nearly as good as Katie's.
Tenley, I'll try to read you tomorrow. Forgive me!
lol, now I really want strawberries.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're nuts 'cause you're crazy about a fruit, I'm crazy about food in general (especially milk and chocolate mmmmm...) Food is awesome! I just don't particularly like fruit... at all. Have fun in Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteWhen Katie, Em, and I have sleepovers(not all that often anymore due to the fact that I live in a different state) Katie and I drink milk instead of soda a lot of the time. That's how crazy we are for milk. And wear LOTS of sunscreen in Hawaii and put it on often or you will regret it. I did and I couldn't go outside for the first couple of days I was there.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE STRAWBERRIES TOO! I love them so much that when I eat them I eat them in their entirety, leaves and all...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm in New York right now and I am so excited to visit Strawberry Fields, I mean I love John Lennon...
