My best friend's pretty and talented and so much more!

Hello bloggers, its Tuesday! I'm gonna make today's post quick, simply because "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" arrived at my house today and I wanna watch it. So, let's get started.

My best friend is Samantha... well, Sam. I don't remember the last time I called her Samantha without meaning it as a joke. Anyways, we met in 3rd grade on the playground. I was playing on this bus thing (it was essentially a bunch of boards and poles put together to look like a bus. Everyone usually played on it, but it was just a few days after the new jungle gym was built, so it was empty except me). Samantha, who was new to the school, came over and asked if she could be the driver. I said yes, we've been best friends ever since.

Before our senior year, I moved to Virginia which sucked at first, but we video chat all the time and try to see each other as much as possible, and its not that different. She's still amazing. Currently, she's in Ohio getting her degree in Civil Engineering to be an Architect and I'm in Virginia getting my degree in library science to be a librarian.

Here's a couple pictures of Sam:

A weird one I took where one of our other friends, Kyle,
attempts to style her hair.

A pretty one, with a bunny.

Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

My Best Friend is a Mountain

Not really, it's just that her name is Whitney and her physics teacher has made small talk with her by linking her name to the mountain.

Hey bloggers, it's Monday.

And this is Whitney. Whitney is what you call my best friend, but really, she's more than that. I have many close and best friends, I suppose, but Whitney is almost like a sister. She even has the same last name as me! Which is an odd coincidence. I've known her since 7th grade and now that we graduated for high school, we have college. So Whitney decided to be gung ho and chose a nice private, liberal college that isn't in California. She goes to Reed in Oregon, that traitor.

I'm joking of course, I was happy that she decided to be more independent and adventurous, choosing a school that is so far away from home. I really miss her, even though she has only been gone for little more than a week, and I hope she doesn't read this blog entry, because it's cheesy.

But yeah, our friendship is pretty crazy, and we spend so much time together that we think the same thoughts. I accuse her of thought-sucking but our minds pretty much work the same way, although she is 3431209169457856% smarter than me. And now I'm sad because I don't have anyone to go to shows with anymore, because no one likes the same music as me.

Tenley, I'll read you tomorrow.

These are my Vegetable Friends

Bueno Dias Girls, It's a beautiful sunny Sunday!
I'm in a good mood today. I made a decision that I should have made months ago, I'm reading Mockingjay, Jim Parsons won the Emmy for best lead actor in a tv series, my mom, scotty, and I just finished watching two episodes of the West Wing, which is really good.
Yesterday I dug holes at my school and then hung out with Jo JoAnna JoJo JoAnna and Emily (I have a thing for chants).  We ate at Zianos which is amazing and we read college books, walked, took pictures, and watched the Producers.... we are such nerds :). Right now, I'm attempting to write an essay about Cheating and the American Dream... FUN!
Also, my cat has a twitter account. Her username is legendofkitteh. Check her out :)
@Hannah, We have a field trip to Chicago on September 13, I realize it's unlikely that we'll see you, but still, yay!
Anyways, TO THE THEME!
This week's theme brought to you by helpful Haley is Best Buddies (actually, it's best friends, but alliteration rocks)
My bestest buddies are Emily Blue Warshauer, JoAnna Bormann, Hannah Horsfall, Kenneth Harkenrider (not really, but I mean, he's a good friend, not my best friend, so he counts) and Robby Brothers (he's also my boyfriend, but before that he was my "bestest buddy in teh entire universe" so yeah)

Emily Blue Warshauer

doesn't she look lovely

Emily Blue Warshuaer was born in Fort Wayne, IN. She has two younger brothers, Ross and Miles. Ross is athletic and popular in his grade (surprisingly enough). I think Emily and Ross are sexually involved, but I have yet to get a secondary source. Miles is Emily except younger and Male. Through Emily's early childhood she was always friends with the boys. Later in Lower School, the boys left her because I assume they realized "girls are icky" and then Emily's female friends ran away from her. I don't blame them :). Emily's aspriations as a child were very high. She wished to be a struggling student poet (at Harvard) living above Starbucks who would eventually die along at a very early age. Soon she discovered an amazingly awesomely kind girl named Katie Zellner and she prayed to Mao every night so that she would be her best friend. Mao granted her wish and Katie and Emily bonded over Harry Potter. Thet are now currently pseudo-sisters. Emily's interests include gingers, communists, social studies, history, pompous democrats, reading, annoying people, and squirrel fishing. She is either pompous or has an alarmingly low level of self-confidence. She is crazy and she has an Freud action figure with which she accuses people of being in love with their parental units. One day, we all plan to kill her... There is a 50% chance I'm kidding. That's pretty nifty.

JoAnna Bormann

Emily's gonna steal JoAAAAAAAna

JoAnna Bormann has lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana for ages. She has gone to Canterbury for forever. More or less, JoAnna Bormann is always there. She has 3  brothers and one little sister. Chris, the oldest, is kinda annoying and socially awkward. JoAnna is next and then there's Rebecca. Rebecca is a lot like JoAnna except she's shorter and younger and a bit more annoying. Stephen is next, he's autistic and JoAnna's family and friends participate in the Walk to Talk every year to raise money for research. Daniel is the youngest, I don't know much about him.  JoAnna met Katie Zellner in third grade when Katie was a new student. JoAnna was very nice to Katie, but she considered Joanna a bit too weird until the end of third grade when they became very good friends. At some point in fourth grade they became best friends. JoAnna, unlike Emily, is a very talented indivisual. JoAnna can sing well, she is atheltic, and she has some moral value. However JoAnna has anger management issues (ALL OF MY FRIENDS DO). JoAnna read the Harry Potter series in 7th grade and that's when this friendship became SERIOUS. Really, JoAnna's known me the longest and that's why she's awesome.

Hannah Horsfall
I MISS YOU HANNAH

I don't know the orgin story of Hannah. I know that she once lived in Texas and her Aunt lives in New York She's a mystery!!! O_o. Anyways, Hannah's been one of my bestest friends since (5 or 6)th grade. To be perfectly honest I didn't like her that much at the beginning because she was 1. pretty 2. a cheerleader and 3. seemingly perfect. This kind of people bother me. However, I started to warm up to her pretty fast. Hannah was interested in theatre, student government, science, math, cheerleading, swim, (track? i think you did track), writing childrens books, french and a bunch of other stuff. Hannah was a seemingly normal girl, but I changed that (along with Jojo and Ems). Hannah is a crazy awesome Harry Potter nerdfighter and is again very awesome. One time she came over and had Halloween with me and she was some kind of pretty circus ringer person thing and I was a milk carton... yeah I won. We played pokemon snap often. She used to date my boyfriend and then when she didn't want to go out with him anymore she asked me to tell him, but then I didn;t have to and I was thankful because that would've been awkward. One time, JoAnna, Emily, Hannah, her other boyfriend and I went to Chicago to the Harry Potter Exhibit which was awesome. I'm reminiscing about Hannah because she moved to Chicago and I miss her!!! We need to talk okay?

Kenneth Harkenrider
Kenneth is the short ginger on the right
I don't really know why I put Kenneth on my best friends list, he's not really my best friend. He's one of my very good friends that I talk too often so I think he counts! I know absolutely nothing about Kenneth's past (which is surprising). I know he's gone to Canterbury for a long time. He has two little sisters Camille and Amelia (short red head girl named Amelia... :D ). Both are very nice but they are quiet and afraid of me. His dad is the high school PE director and his mom makes the BEST BREAD EVER! I'm making him making her teach me how to make it. His father is my brother's best friend (father = pseudo father). I don't remember how/when I met him, but I didn't really become friends with him until 8th grade.  As you can see above, he plays guitar and is in a band called Snow Day. He also, cooks, knits, watches Food Network, phography-ies, and computers. He and I text in french and have been in an on going war to see who can defeat the other in french class (he always wins) He's more or less a more awesome and ginger version of me excpet not.. Kenneth's actually a terminator sent from the future to kill John Connor. That's why Kenneth's good at everything and hasn't grown taller.
FUN FACT: I kinda, sorta, possibly used to like him.

Robby Brothers

Robby Brothers was reincarnated from a dinosaur and that's why he wants to be a Paleontologist when he grows up, so he can prove that dinosaurs were purple and had funny voices. *high five if you get the reference(s)* Robby has two younger sibilings. One is named Floyd and he's weird, funny, likes Doctor Who,  and awesome. The other sibling is Michael and he seriously injured himself when I was in 8th grade. He also doesn't like Doctor Who. I like Floyd better. Robby's dad was my 8th grade science teacher. He gave me my irrational fear of airplanes. Mrs. Brothers is really nice... yeah that's all I got. Anyways, I've known of Robby's existence for forever, but I didn't actually *know* him until we were in the same advisory in 6th grade. I brought in brownies on snack day and he litereally licked the tray clean. I didn't really become friends with him until 8th grade which is hard to imagine because it feels like we've been friends for forever. Anyways, Hannah had a crush on him during the DC trip and he liked her too so our friend groups sat with eachother during dinner in DC one time and we had conversations about books and stuff. After the DC trip I no longer had fear to hang out with him during After School (we were always there) and we talked about stuff. We bonded over Artemis Fowl, Warriors, Frank Caliendo (he's hillarious) and when I became a nerdfighter I showed him one of John's videos and he loved it. We've really been friends ever since DC. One thing I remember very very well about 8th grade was when Robby told Kenneth I liked him. MEANIE PANTS :P!! So now he's my boyfriend and that happened either the 2nd or 3rd of July. I had invited people to watch random movies and stuff at my house and Robby was the only one who could come (He swears that he didn't cause that, but I'm still suspicious because Sarah G's excuse was "I'm Sorry Katie, I want to go, but I have to sleep in the middle of the afternoon) and throughout the course of the thing I realized he liked me (it took a long time though). By the way, one of the things we wacthed was HP6 and during the part where Ron and Harry are lying in bed (yeah ems, like that) and say
"Why does Dean like Ginny"
"I dunno, she's nice, smart, funny, pretty"
"Pretty?!"
"yeah, I mean she has nice skin"
"are you saying that Dean likes my sister because she has nice skin?"
"no, I'm just saying it could be a contributing factor"
"huh.... Hermione has nice skin"

Well, Robby says that that doesn't actually happen. I'm really really dissapointed.

Well anyways, those are my bestest buddies. I hope that was somewhat interesting!!
Jasmine, I'll read you tomorrow!

Being not very creative.

Hello girls, it's the last Saturday of August - can you believe how fast time passed in the last two month?

Yesterday I thought of thousand things I could blog about, but of course I don't remember anything of it today... I really should always write everything down.
Random facts about me:

1. I would never touch my laptop without washing hands before. If I touch something else while using the computer - I wash my hands again. It's probably my worst habit of all.
2. I don't like Harry Potter. The character I mean. I think he is whiny and arrogant and I was always more a Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy person.
3. I hate Red Bull, but I love Red Bull Cola. (Did you know that Red Bull is Austrian? #patriotism)
4. I check my Facebook every few seconds. Sometimes I don't even notice it.
5. My iPod touch is called Achilles.
6. There are feathers under my bed, but I can't find the bird. That's why I sometimes hate my cat.
7. I have 2994 songs in my iTunes. Hmm, if I think about it I should download six more songs RIGHT NOW to have 3000!
8. I have 3004 songs in my iTunes. Newest is the album of Taylor Momsen's band The Pretty Reckless. I think I like it.
9. Puppies are cute.
10. I loved playing Sims 2, but since I have a Mac I can't play it anymore and that sucks so much.

Yesterday I went to the bookstore and left Nerdfighter notes in John Green's books. It would be so cool to make new Nerdfighters here :)

Damn Facebook too bloody addicting,
Sarah

'Old People' is the Fastest Growing Age Group

Hello fellow Bloggers as you may have noticed, or you may not have, it is Thursday.  That means that it is Haley's day to blog.  Therefore... here I am.

So, this may come as a shock to you, but I am a person who is a fan of keeping pointless memories and then telling people about them that don't give a rat's ass, random trivia that will probably never be needed, and bugging people.  That means that this topic was the one for me.  Also I realize that it probably didn't come as a shock, because I probably seem like a relatively chatty person that likes the sound of her own voice, or I suppose in this case, the pounding of the keys.

Here I go...

Today I went to the dentist.  I like going there because my mom works there, and I like it how she complains about them at home, but at work they are all civil.  I got two batman stickers and a spider man sticker.

My schedule/life is messed up at moment becase I was usually go to my dad's on Wednesday's but instead I'm going tonight.

I have a training tomorrow to be a W.E.B. (Welcome Every Body)  leader.  Instead I call myself a G.O.T.N.  (Guide of the N00bs.)  It made me realize how close my school is to starting.  1 6/7 weeks.

*In the typical Canadian home, 45 percent is used for the toilet, 28 percent is used for bathing and personal matters, 23 percent is used for laundry or dishes, and 4 percent is used for cooking and drinking purposes.

I started/finished a book called Everlost today.  It was really good.

I read Mockingjay on Monday.  It was also very good.

I'm watching Old Spice commercials at the moment.

Well.  That seems like enough stupid stuff for me to say for the week.

Until next time! :)

And Emily Dies A Little Inside

Hey girls, my head feels like there is a semi driving full speed into my forehead... also it's wednesday, also AH.
Just a by the way, when my head hurts I become a bitch. Raise your hand if you already thought I was a bitch *we all raise our hands*... good, so we're all in agreement.
"I got in one little fight and my mom got scared; she said 'you're movin' in with your auntie and your uncle in bellaire'."
... I am insane.
So girls, wanna know why I chose wednesday as my day to blog? because I would never forget it's wednesday because wednesday is uniform day (also death day) at my school. I hate uniform day. Also, wednesday is the hardest one to spell and I like bein' difficult.

So today sucked and I kind of just wanted to crawl in bead and die because I have a cold and my nose is really runny and my throat hurts and I got a quiz back and I don't like my score so much and my head has hurt all day and I've been listening to the mountain goats all day  (which is good, but so, so sad) and my nose is so stuffed up that I have to breath out of my mouth. And I left the book I need for my english homework at school. Also Ester died and while I'm a narrsasist who didn't really know anything about her cept that she was 16 and had cancer it's like MAJOR STORY TOPPED also it made me think about my own mortality because it's like, I'll be 16 in 2 months and I'm not done living, SO YOUNG it's just an example of "you don't have to be old to die." I mean, you don't even have to be 16 to die. I could die now; I could die tomorrow; all the people I love could die at any second; all the people I like could die at any second; all the people I might have liked if I had known them could die at any second; all my enemies could die before I get revenge; WE COULD ALL FUCKIN' DIE, MAN and there would be so many things I haven't told people... no one would know where the treasure was burried... he wouldn't know I like him; they wouldn't know I value them as people; I WOULDN'T BE ABLE OT BRING MY AP US GRADE BACK UP! Morality is a heartless bitch... oops, morTality is a heartless bitch. I could go back and fix that, but it's just to awesome as it is. Mortality is a bitch and I'm a vapid narsassist (that can't spell).

So I named my calculator "lying bitch" by the way. I am considering changing it to "lying whore". tell me what you think. Also it's wrong a lot. I guess it's only good for making me sammiches to nom on... hey, hey, hey; you know why it doesn't need to wear a watch? BECAUSE THERE'S A CLOCK ON THE OVEN! ...lolz... misogyny... lolz. (this is what a feminist looks like)

SO... about the theme... I guess I might have put you guys at a disadvantage. "soorry." There is back story. "Cool story bro" is slang. also sarcastic. I ran into it for the first time on facebook chat when I was talking to that ginger I like that i keep talking about soorry I'll try to stop #runons. Do you know how hard it is to recognise sarcasm on facebook chat when you're trying to reply quickly and intelligently? It's supa' hard, man. Basicly I told him a boring story that one of my friends (katie, why does your brother like to screw me so much. ugh.) who is also his best friend (pretty sure?) told me I had to tell him. He doesn't know I like him. well, didn't. maybe still doesn't. he replies "cool story, bro." Not knowing the slang or recognising the goddamn sarcasm (he's canadian (well, was) and I'm a jew, who should be recognising who's sarcasm?) I reply "somewhat, yeah" SOMEWHAT YEAH! *MEGACRINGE* I knew it was a boring story; I had no idea why he would find it interesting, but you know, if he did I would play along. as soon as I saw my response on the chat I recognised how wrong it was, but it was so too late to correct it. Now, every time someone says "cool story bro" I die a little inside. Also, with the soorry thing, he was Canadian, he;s a US citizen now, he still says "Soorry" instead of "sorry"... he does it on purpose; he's lived on my street for more than ten years; I still find it really cute. It's eleven thirty here. I have more to say, but I'm sick  and I need to read my lab for adv. chem. and go to be so, um, night girls.

Hayley, I'll read you tomorrow.

Watching: Um... well... nothing... school... this weekend I shall catch up on royal pains, white collar, psych (probably), as well as maybe some movies with some friends or something? we need to make plans
Listening to: The Mountain Goats, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, hopefully I'll get over my obsession with The Mountain Goats and Neutral Milk Hotel's "Communist Daughter" by friday so I'll sqeeze in some Arcade Fire and normal, not newly added music (my cousins gave me a USB with 174 new songs on it. I love those boys.)

Angsty Tenley is Angsty

Hey bloggers, it's Tuesday... no its not, that was a lie. Its 1:22 AM on Wednesday morning... my bad. I didn't even forget it was Tuesday, I knew it was and I knew I had to blog, and I was going to... just as soon as I re-watched old "Make it or Break it" episodes on iTunes (I should have blogged about that during guilty pleasures week). In the past like five minutes I considered several different things to write about, one of which being a list of pathetic excuses for not blogging on time (btw, I think this is the second time I've blogged late. I don't know if that's punishable, or if we're still doing punishments, but if it is I totally accept whatever's coming). But, as fun as that would be, I couldn't actually think of many. So instead, I'm going to... um, tell you 10 things in my room that mean absolutely nothing to me.

1. My alarm clock. God, I hate mornings, and I hate the bastard who invented the alarm clock. Honestly, repetitive beeping? Really?
2. My garbage can. Which is currently overflowing with cups and plates, thus making me look like I a) had a party in here (which I did not) or b) eat way to much junk food.
3. My trophies. Their either from little league sports where they give you a trophy for showing up or from this Awana program my old church put on. Either way, not very impressive, in fact, a tad embarrassing.
4. My work uniform. Kaiki pants, a red polo and very uncomfortable black shoes that are falling apart... they just scream sexy. *sarcasm*
5. A box of tissues laying on the floor that's been there for like three weeks/the last time I was sick.
6. The college textbooks I just spent to much money on. Don't get me wrong, some of my classes should be interesting, but 180 dollars for an access code, not even a book, a code for my math class just sucks.
7. This old belt on the floor that's falling apart and really can't be used anymore and doesn't even look good.
8. The pile of laundry that's taunting me because I refuse too set aside my laziness and wash it.
9. This pen on the floor that falsely leads me on to think it writes in pink (because the outside is pink) so I use it and then it just writes black.
And finally, 10. The bed sheet that keeps falling off my bed everytime I go to sleep. Argh...

Ooo... angsty. I realize this post makes me seem depressed and kind of angry, I'm not. I'm actually having a great day, I just couldn't think of anything else to blog about and it seemed pretty uninteresting at the time.

Anyways, its 1:41 AM now, so I'm going to tell myself that I'm going to go to bed but really go back to watching "Make it or Break it" reruns. Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

Boring Title is Boring

Hey bloggers, it's Monday.

So this week's theme is pretty interesting. I don't really get it, because are we suppose to write something that is boring and uninteresting about ourselves? If that is that is the case, then be prepare to snore.

The thing is that I am almost like everyone else, as in I eat, sleep, and do what basically everyone does. The truth is that I don't really know what to write..

Okay! So my best friend moved the other day to Oregon for college, and it just took me a while to realize that I would not be seeing her for a long time.. and that it would take me a while to get use to it. I'm so accustomed to seeing her a least once a week that she's become a part of life, like eating or shopping. It's strange year for me, because I'm an actual adult now, and I have to learn my responsibilities..

So how's that for cool story?

And is "cool story, bro" like a slang? Or is it something you girls made up?

Cool Story Bro

Hey girls, it's sunday!
Emily says that this week's theme is "Cool Story, Bro"
If you don't know, Cool Story Bro is what you say when someone tells you something and it's not that interesting. Emily dies a little everytime someone says it so I don't know why she chose it as a theme. Anyways.
Because of the theme I will tell you 10 completely uninteresting facts about me/my day. (btw, 3 of you: Jasmine, Emily, and Hannah have not sent me a picture for John Green's bday card and given me a message to tell him. I chose a random picture on facebook and wrote something like Happy Birthday so yeah.)
10 Completely Uninteresting things about me
1. In Puerto Rico where I was born they hiphen the last names of the parents for their children so my name is legally Katherine Ann Zellner-Hines. This is apparently a problem because for my learner's permit that I got on Saturday it has to use the name that's on my birth certificate so now pretty much every legal piece of paperwork is going to say Zellner-Hines even though I've never gone by that.
2. I just finished my Bio homework that's due on Thursday. We have to make a table of contents and write the lab report questions in our composition book. My hand hurts now.
3. I have the same birthday as George Washington, Vincent Schantz (a guy who goes to my school), Addie (my friend)'s Aunts, Steve Irwin, My puppy, Drew Barrymore, Ted Kennedy, Robert Wadlow (the tallest person in recorded histroy), Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Charles VII of France.
4. For the video thingy for John I had to make a birthday message on paper so I spent a lot of time on it and then when I was ready to take the picture my computer froze and then the site said there were no more spots available. I was sad.
5. In Science Olympiad last year, my Mission Possible team won 2nd place, but the results got mixed up and my team accidentally recieved the 3rd place awards and my brother's team got the 2nd place rewards and they wouldn't trade. (btw, I would like to use this time to point out to emily that I beat AJ at something)
6. I have two Doctor Who posters in my room
7. I decided to read the Pretty Little Liars book series and I'm on the fourth one, but I'm pausing that for now to reread the Hunger Games books, but I'm not sure I'll finish those in time for Mockingjay.
8. My mom misplaced a thank you note from one of my friends and I just found it in the car on the way to the BMV and it made me happy.
9. Now that Robby's my boyfriend, my old crush is replacing Robby's spot as guy-friend-that-I-tell-stuff, i find this weird
10. I used to have a website where I posted blogs and youtube videos so Robby could watch them because his parents blocked youtube.

Sarah writes a lot.

Hello bloggers, it's Saturday!
And I'm at home, alone, so I have time to blog again! Sorry for my absence during the last weeks, you know I rarely have been at home and I was busy. Besides the internet in all the hotels sucked so much that I prefered not to use it. If you want me to do some punishment for the posts I missd - tell me what I should do!

Guilty Pleasures
I have many guilty pleasures. MANY. The one I thought of first is my enthusiasm for children movies and stuff like that. I still love to watch Disney movies, especially the old ones. My all time favourite is Aristocats. And Pixar movies - of course - although I don't consider all of them as 'children' movies. I would not let my kid watch Finding Nemo, for example (I would also not let them read all Harry Potter books at once, they should wait for every book like I did. Primary because it's so great to grow up with Harry Potter when you are the same age as him all the time and secondary because if I had to wait, they should have to wait too :D)
Anyway, I also really like Hannah Montana. Everyone makes fun of me because of that, but I do think it is a really funny TV series. Sure, it's pretty stupid from time to time, but it also has its really funny parts.
Somehow watching TV series is a guilty pleasure overall, I watch so much... at the moment I am waiting for the new seasons of How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy and Gossip Girl. New Hannah Montana is already on ;)
My other guilty pleasure is buying notebooks. You know, pretty small notebooks you could write in, which I almost never do because they are too pretty. I don't know how many of them I have, I never counted, but I guess it's over 30. You can spend an aweful lot of money on that... but I also get quite many for birthdays and Christmas, because my mother also sort of collects them and therefor supports me.

Favourite things in my room
That's a tough question. I like almost everything in my room, because it's so me.
I especially like my computer area. It's my computer, my monitor, my speakers and the subwoofer under the desk (I could not live without subwoofer anymore, it makes every music sound so great!), the desk and the chair itself...
Here you have a picture of all that:

On the picture you can also see my shelf, I love the doors (made them myself). In it are my medicine books and the folders from university. It's a lot to study... on the wall I have a poster about brains, you can only see it a little on this picture, but it's pretty cool.

Sarah's book of (To Do) Lists
Alex inspired me lately in this video to make a book with lists too. I often write To Do-lists for the next day before I go to sleep, because otherwise I would forget half of the stuff I plan to do. So far I just always wrote them on pieces of paper, which is messy and I don't like mess. And besides I think it's so true what Alex says, that if you don't plan anything you will do the next day you keep spending time doing nonsense, like refreshing Facebook every five seconds in hope that something has happened.
Today I bought two notebooks (guilty pleasure guilty pleasure) and will start my book of lists! (I also always write lists what I want to write in my next blog post, by the way).

Nerdfightersecrets
The last days I spent most of my time reading nerdfightersecrets.com (like everyone else I suppose). I hate and like this website at the same time. There are many true secrets I can identify myself with and it's in some way nice to know, that you are not the only one feeling like that. But on the other hand there are also some aweful things written there, which I hate, like when Nerdfighters are talking bad about other Nerdfighters etc.
One secret touched me most and I want to share it with you:

I already cried so much when I read the books. I cried when Dumbledore died and I cried during most of the last book. And I cry every time I see the trailer and I don't really know why, because I don't even like the movies. But still it's always like some era ending, I've grown up with Harry Potter, I read the first book when I was eight and the last book when I was seventeen, so it's almost ten years of Harry Potter and it still fascinates me so much.
(I also cried at the end of Lord of the Rings, not because it was particulary sad, but mostly because I knew there will never be another movie again and that made me incredibly sad.)
Let's share the pain and watch the trailer together:

Don't forget that brains attract,
Sarah

Haley loves her spaceship.

Hey bloggers!  It's Thursday!
(Too excited?  I'm not sure.)

Haley's week has been pretty uneventful, but she did get her schedule and that makes her happy.  She is also a bit happy because her school picture doesn't look like crap this year, unlike the last two  years.   Also, it seemed like a curse was broken because unlike sixth, and seventh grade, for her eighth grade picture she didn't have a huge zit.  That was exciting?

I think that at the moment my favorite thing in the room of which I'm blogging is my spaceship hat.  It used to  the top to a valentine's box in fifth grade, but I have made some changes.  I made it with my dad, and I like it very much.

Also, it became a hate right when I took the picture.  This is because when I saw it I started sing "Put Stuff on your head" and then it seemed like a perfect hat; and that is how thy spaceship hat was born.

Sorry for the short blog post, but if I don't eat now then I will die.  Plus I don't have much to say.

Hello Girls it’s actually Thursday, but it’s Emily who is currently blogging.

SO… about how late this is…lemme explain. It starts yesterday. I woke up at ten which is fine, but I still hadn’t finished my summer reading book, but I had to finish it yesterday because today I start school… anyways… from 10-12 I procrastinated (keep in mind I was about 40 pages in to a 387 page book and really bad ADD that I only medicate for school) I read 4 chapters and answered the corresponding questions… then I procrastinated some more… at 1… same thing… essentially until 4 o’clock when I was still on chapter 16/43… then I got serious… until dinner at 7:30. At 9 I got back to work until 10:30 or so when I got on skype and had an argument with Katie that she went offline in the middle of causing me to go outside and run around the house screaming to keep it from distracting me… at 11 it was still distracting me so I went and ate a spoonful of chocolate icing or 2 out of the container which calmed me down. Then I read ‘til 11:40 when I had to fold all my laundry… then at 11:45 I got back to it and finished the book at 1:30 at which point I promptly fell asleep… 347 pages in one day (you’re a star; you’re on top; somebody get me some HAM [‘cept I don’t eat meat] –Liz lemon, 30 rock).

SO… I blog from my bed so my favorite thing I hard ‘cause I have all my Harry Potter stuff and all my childhood friends (*cough cough* they’re stuffed animals #indoorkid) and my great grand mother’s needle point and all my clothing and technology and more than 50 empty pop cans (pop is soda if you didn’t know)… I’m going to say my books are my favorite things. I own a lot of books. I have a book case full at the lake house and so many books here that not only do I fill all of my shelves I have 2 rows of books (1 in front of the other) and I’ve run out of space in the book case so I have to put books on top of it. It’s not a small book case.

So blogging about going back to school then getting up, getting dressed, and going back to school. I go back to school with Katie at 10 o’clock this morning. We’ll probably get there at 9:30. I get to be respected now because I am not a freshman… hoorayz!I’m going to die this year as well because I have a hard schedual and I want to do speech and debate and model UN and science Olympiad and backstage work for the winter play… with AP US in my schedual.

I got to goz now…

Haley, read ya’ later

What I’m reading: cleared for school
What I’m listening to: get back to Hogwarts AVPM (in my head)
What I’m watching: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (you should go see it as it’s super mega awesome foxy hot… also… read the books)

I like my room, all my favorite things are in it

Hey bloggers, it's Tuesday! First, sorry I didn't tell you guys the theme until really late last night. Specifically, sorry to Katie and Jasmine who couldn't write about the theme this week. Sorry, I'd like to say I was really busy, but I just forgot it was my week to pick a theme. My bad.

I did pick a theme though, its "favorite thing in the room your currently blogging in" week. Katie and Jasmine, I guess you can skip this weeks theme, or combine it with whatever Emily chooses for next week.

Anyways, I'm blogging from my room tonight, not very original but still. I have a few favorite things but the thing I was looking at when I decided on the theme (I was looking around my room for inspiration, as it turns out, my rooms not that inspiring) is a poster I have on the wall. Its from my old high school's literary magazine, I didn't know the artist, I wasn't part of the staff for the magazine, I just like the picture. Also, I think it looks a bit like a zombified version of Dr. Noise. Which is awesome because I had the poster long before I knew who Dr. Noise was.

Another thing I like in my room is the old stories I wrote in elementary school. There horrifically bad, with nothing close to a plot, but their very entertaining. I only found them a few weeks ago in the move, but since then I've had plenty of fun times reading through and making fun of them.

Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

Nom Nom Nom Nom

Hey bloggers, it's Monday!

And I don't know what this week's theme is, so I can't really do anything about it. And I don't have anything to write.
So I realized that I haven't received my punishments yet, are they still happening?

Instead, I will show you an educational video:

A Stroke of Brilliance

Hiya Girls it's Sunday!
We have 10 followers! That means 3 of them aren't us!
My Life news:
I have a kitty named Zelda. Look at Zelda, she's adorable

Also my brother, Scotty, is now a legal adult. this scares me greatly. Look at Scotty, he's sideways because I'm lazy.

So I was waiting waiting waiting for Tenley to get online to tell me the theme of the week and I had a brilliant idea, I shall just use last weeks theme since I didn't blog! I like this idea and now I won't have to wait to figure out the theme.
So if I recall correctly the theme was Guilty Pleasures. I have lots of those.

My first somewhat-guilty pleasure is *dramatic theme music*
Watching and Singing songs from disney/barbie/kid movies
When I was a child I was OBESSED with barbie and the movies and such. With the dolls it was like writing a novel without the writing bit. I made up completely unoriginal stories with them (it was usually beautiful girl who can sing gets lost in the woods and finds a castle. she's taken prisoner by a monster. she falls in love with the monster. prince finds her and takes her away to be a slave. monster finds her. monster becomes a handsome prince.) Now what story does that kind of really sound like? (answer: beauty and the beast: extended plot)
My favorite Barbie movies were between the Princess and the Pauper and Barbie in Swan Lake. I still know all the songs to Princess and the Pauper and all of the ballet dances in Barbie in Swan Lake.
I sadly still watch these (I watched Princess and the Pauper a few days ago along with Barbie diaries).
Disney movies I'm not really embarassed of. I love Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback, and many more. Disney was brilliant and I love the company and the founder.
I also loved Anastasia and Swan Princess but those aren't Disney

Second Not-Very-Guilty Very-Much-So Pleasure
Pokemon: Okay, I own the first season of Pokemon and I listen to songs such as "Together Forever" and "Pokemon Johto" from Pokemon because Pokemon because it's brilliant and I love it. The games, especially gold/silver are amazing and I love them. Pokemon basically was my childhood and I'm still obsessed with it

Third VERY-VERY-Guilty Pleasure
Pretty Little Liars.
I'm sorry, I've only seen a few episodes and it's so so bad but it's so so addicting. It's like Twilight except actually better and more realistic (although it is very farfecthed (like the pokemon))

Okay, it's two minutes until tomorrow so AUREVOIR!

Less than three,
Katie Z.

Shoes and TV.... oh and baking

Hey girls it's Friday and I have to go to a stupid team building sleepover for swim team so this is going to be incredibly short.
My guilty pleasure is I love shoes. Specifically shoes that are on sale and shoes that are made by Simple. These are all natural shoes and are biodegradable. Plus they look really cool. I also love to watch TV. I know this sounds bad and is kind of bad. After all it does rot your brain or that's what my dad says. I love CSI and will watch Dr. Who reruns that I tape all day. Even when I've seen them already. Oh and finally I love to bake. Cakes, cookies, muffins you name it and give me a recipe and I can make it. That's all for today. I promise to tell you guys about my birthday next week.

Always the Purplest,
        -Hannah

Haley isn't guilty of much

Well, I'm sure I'm guilty of TONS of stuff, but not much that I really find pleasurable.

Howdy do bloggers it's Thursday!

This week I have dyed my hair brunette.  My dad hasn't noticed yet, and I don't think that we're planning on telling him.  If you knew my dad, you would understand.

I have only taken one picture.  This picture is very embarrassing and hilarious, and I edited in Picnik to hide the huge zit on my fivehead. I will post it here because that is nice I am.

When I heard the theme my brain almost blew up because I don't really have many guilty pleasures.  I thought about it, and I forgot them, but then I thought of some more.  So... here they go.

When I'm home alone I willingly listen to music from Disney Channel movies/Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers and sing along because I know all the lyrics. It is actually fun sometimes. :)

I also know all the current Disney Channel theme songs and jump around and sing them using a make shift microphone of some kind while singing them.  This annoys my sister, that is why I do it.

I can't really think of anything now.  I'm not sure why.  I had a few, but now my brain is running dry.  Now I have to go hang out with my mom.

Hot Guys in Bright Colors

Hey girls, it's Wednesday AND I'VE ALREADY WRITTEN THIS ONCE BEFORE MICROSOFT WORD STOPPED RESPONDING... sorry, just the tiniest bit annoyed.

So girls, let me start by addressing something. Last week's title was crazy and none. of. you. said. anything. When I do something like that, which I hope to do every week, I. want. you. to. say. something. I think I deserve your recognition.

About this week's title. I took a journalistic writing class. In that class I wrote an article about the world cup. That was the title of the article. Got an "A". Win.

My dinner: was good and I want to show you it to brag. It’s also, supper healthy and vegetarian (I HAVEN'T FAILED YET, KATIE). I’d give you the recipe, but it’s actually 11:52 on Tuesday and I have to wake up at 5 am tomorrow (it seems as though speech season has come early this year!):

Yummy... Katie, help with pictures later

My guilty pleasure… when I first saw the theme I didn’t think I had anything to contribute… but I do. I’m not embarrassed about who I like (currently), but fawning over him is a guilty pleasure… he’s an interesting guy and I feel as though I talk about him too much… Katie, no commenting on that part; I know.

Last weekend my dad’s side of the family (the Jewish side) was at the lake. I took a lot of pictures. I’m going to show you some.
The Pretty girl is my cousin, Sydney. She is Five days older than me. I am the one in the sounders jersey for I love Seattle.

This is my younger brother Ross. He is 13. He is going into the 8th grade. He plays Soccer. I don’t think he wanted his picture taken especially as, at that moment, I think he was annoyed at me about something

This is my cousin Jake (he just turned 18) and my dog, Ladybug. I’ll let you guess who is who.

This is my younger brother Miles. He will turn eight in September. He is 35 days away from being eight years younger than me. He is cute, but annoying.

My family is larger and I have more pictures, but word is running slowly and I’m tired so we’ll talk theme and post and then I’ll go to bed. I’ve been up 20 of today’s 24 hours hanging out a Cedar Point (an amusement park) with my friends.

Nonfiction is kind of my current guilty pleasure as there is so much I want to read before I go back to school next week, but I really need to read “Huck Finn” so… also, I like a ginger… so yay! I know this is a bad way to address the theme, but I’m tired.

SO… we need to comment on each other’s blogs more (everyone’s, not just mine)…

Hayley, I’ll read you today.

Quote: “People always try Matzo and say they like it and I guess if you only eat it once it’s good, but with Passover by the end all you can think about is ‘why were the Jews so lazy…’” –My cousin Sam
What I’m reading: Huck Finn (Mark Twain), 1984 (George Orwell), Hopes and Prospects (Noam Chompsky [what a badass name])
What I’m listening to: “Rent” from “Rent”

I have a deep and unrelenting love for...

Hey bloggers, it's Tuesday! I was going to be totally unoriginal and say that my guilty pleasure was Youtube and then go on a rant about still not having high speed internet and thus not being able to obsess over the Youtube videos I usually do. But I figured that would be lame... so, instead I'm gonna talk about books. Because that is totally original *sarcasm*.

I think I mentioned it on this blog but I'm not sure, so I'll say it again or possibly for the first time, I'm in college studying to be a librarian. So... I love books, a lot. I don't own that many, well, I own considerably more than some people, but I don't have an epic room filled only of books (although that would be awesome). Mostly I go to the library a lot (which again, is totally original for a future librarian) or I treat Barnes and Noble as a library (not in the taking books from Barnes and Noble without paying way, in the sitting in Barnes and Noble while I finish a book way). And in the past week of not having high speed internet, I've been going to those to places even more (partly because I'm bored and partly because they have free wifi) (I didn't actually realize this was going to come back to the no high speed thing, but my mind always seems to circle back to that).

What else can I tell you about my guilty pleasure... ooo, some of my favorites!
1. Harry Potter, duh.
2. The Book Thief
3. Going Bovine
4. I am the Universe
5. Miss. Brill
6. The Catcher in the Rye
7. Of Mice and Men (the only book I'll ever read with that god-for-shaken creature in the title.
8. Hamlet (although, I only started being obsessed with it after I saw the play)
9. Let it Snow (namely, Maureen's story, but I love them all).
10. Blue is for Nightmares (and the other three books in the series).

*checks list* Yeah, I think that's pretty accurate. Anyways, Emily, I'll read you tomorrow.

I'm Not Dead, Just Stupid

Hey bloggers, it's Monday!

And yes, I didn't blog last week, and the week before that. And I don't know what we're blogging about this week! And I'm pretty sure you're tired from the old themes so I'll just talk about random stuff.

So today, I am going to go to my elementary school reunion, and I haven't seen these kids for over 7 years, which will be very interesting. All of us have grown up and I'm very different from the little snot-nosed brat I was. We'll all be very surprised and just the other day, one of my old classmates contacted me online and I had a hard time recognizing him. I vaguely remember a Brian that I square danced with in 5th grade, but he looks very different from the short, mild-mannered Brian I knew from my childhood. So this will be very new experience that I'm looking forward to.

So sorry again girls, I have no actual excuse for what I did. I'll be using my pass and I'll also do a punishment. I'll take on whatever you guys can think of.

Tenley, I'll read you tomorrow.

Edit: Like the idiot I am, I didn't realize that it was my turn to choose the theme. So this week's theme is.. guilty pleasures. So bloggers, write about a guilty pleasure that you have and we'll decide if it's really that bad. For the most part, I think we can all relate.

So my guilty pleasure is actually pretty disgusting. I enjoy looking up videos of people using Biore Pore Strips. It's really gross but I find it fascinating when people just pull off all this gunk they have on their nose.

I dare you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQuShpOoJ-Q

In 10 years I'm saving lives

Hello girls, it's Saturday - and I'm home, so I have INTERNET. Can you believe that? I can use it as looooong as I want and I can sit at my desk in my chair and use the LAPTOP. Seriously best thing ever.

Sooo, Greece. It was really nice, I mean - four weeks of Greece, come on. On the picture above you can see the beach we stayed the first two weeks. It's a camping site where we stay every year since 1997 (except 2006, 2008 and 2009) and it's great as always. Okay, if you are not used to Greece you would probably think it sucks, but if you are used to it... for example, in one shower house there is only hot water. Boiling hot water. So you can't use it. In the other shower house, if you are unlucky, you only have ice cold water. And did you know that nowhere in Greece you are allowed to throw the toilet paper into the toilet? Their pipe systems are too poor...
Staying four weeks with my family was a bit too much, we fought most of the time, I think we are just too old for that kind of vacation. Four people on litte space without internet, it's a disaster.

In ten years I will have finished university and already work as a doctor (I hope). If everything works as planned I will finish university around 2015 and start specializing, which takes another six years I think. And then I'm a surgeon!
During specializing I already earn money, so I hope I can afford a nice appartment and have a cat. I can't really say much about my personal life in ten years, maybe I'm married by then? Well, it doesn't really matter, having a boyfriend would also be enough :) And surely no children. I don't say that I never want children, but I first want to establish my career before starting a family.
By the way, I have no idea where I will be in ten years. Maybe I will still be in Innsbruck? Maybe Vienna? Maybe somewhere totally else? I don't know :)

And last but not least:
Happy Birthday Hannah!

I hope you spend a great day and get many nice presents (we want to hear everything about it!).

Have an awesome birthday and DFTBA,
Katie, I'll read you tomorrow.

In ten years I'm going to be reading that we have posted around 3650 posts!

Hey girls it's friday! Guess what....?

In about half of an hour I'm gonna be 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(that's 15 exclamation points) Yah tomorrow is my birthday! If anyone wants to get me a present you know go ahead... no actually I'm kidding you guys don't have to get me a gift. But I would like it if you guys wished me a happy birthday.

So anyways... to the theme. That sounds like I'm saying to the lab. like in cartoons. But seriously I really like this theme. Thank you Sarah. So in ten years I'm going to be out of regular 4 year college and into um... pre-med? I think I'm not quite sure but I think that's right. Also I'll be drowning in student loan debt. I mean med school is gonna be freaking expensive! What else will I be doing an almost 25? um... I'll hopefully have met my soulmate. Maybe be getting married soon. I'll be helping my brother get through high school. I'll probably be doing a bunch of other stuff too but I don't know what. I love you guys. Good Night.

Sarah I'm really hoping that you find internet and blog tomorrow. I think that could be my birthday present from you. Just kidding but it would make me happy.

In ten years I will still be sitting at the kid's table.

Hey girls it's Thursday, and you all know what that means.  It's another bitter Thursday with Haley!

I will explain the title.  Last night my family went to go have dinner with the relatives.  The "kids" were just sitting there, minding our own business' when we were asked very nicely (demanded) to move to the  other side of the room, where no one else was sitting.  Us kids range from the ages of eleven to thirteen.  As far as I can tell, none of my older cousins are ever going to move away.  So does anyone know what that means?  That means that no matter how old we get, there will never be room for us at the adult's table.

On less bitter notes, my best friend and I have planned that we will be going to Oxford together. I have just searched it and it is apparently 4749.140 miles between my house, and Oxford.  Well, that could be a problem.  I'm sure that I'll work around it.

At Oxford I'll be getting my Master's degree.  I've just googled it (because I really wasn't sure) and it takes roughly two years.  (I also want to say that while I was googling "How long does it take to get your Master's degree?"  one of the top search terms with the beginning "How long does it take to get…" was "How long does it take to get weed out of your system?"  Oh, what is the world coming to?) *
In ten years I will be in the summer before my sixth year of college.

Oh boy… that's exciting stuff.

Ten years is quite a bit away.  Let's just hope by then I've at least had one boyfriend or something.  J

Hannah, I look forward to reading your post tomorrow.

WHERE'S THE FUCKING PUSSY

‘Ello gals, five minutes ago it was Wednesday…
This is going to be a quickie as Katie is at my house…
In ten years I’m still going to be in school working on my masters degree… I don’t know in what yet… maybe in English, or maybe in psychology, or maybe sociology, but the possibilities are kind on infinite right now…
After that I plan on getting my Doctorate or somethin’ so… lots of school…
Katie was being silly earlier and I want to share some quotes:
"Next time a terrorist kidnaps someone they should make everything the kidnappy says a twitter update" -Katie "Kazlo" Zellner

"I'm having a staring contest with the cat. I won because she ran away and I don't run away." -Katie "Kazoo" Zellner

"Where'd the CAT GO" -Katie "Kazoo-Pain" Zellner
"the kitty is like moving the owl necklace around with her paw and it's really cute. now she's taking a bath. now I'm singing. now she's trying to escape. my new cat's gonna live in a book shelf" -Katie "Pain" Zellner

"AWWWW, THE KITTY'S LICKING THE OWL NECKLACE NOW" -Katie "Pain-Kazoo" Zellner

… I think she might be high on something… maybe smores, but I ate them toooooo and I’m no more crazy than normal… maybe she’s sniffing glue…

Anyways…

Quote: "Any time someone warns that “something terrible is coming,” all I could think was: *Yeah, Breaking Dawn. In two parts.”" -MaryAnn Johnson

What I’m Reading: Pre- Summer reading reading… explanation: for my summer reading book I’m reading 1984 and this guy I trust (ok, maybe I kind of like him too, but you know, what ever) says that before reading 1984 I should read some of Orwell’s essays so I learn more about his idea of utopia… so I’m doin’ that
